Minor Surgery

Scar Revision

Scar revision surgery will attempt to minimize a scar so that it is less conspicuous and blends in with the surrounding skin tone and texture.

Skin Tags

Skin tags are small, skin coloured growths that are on the skin and can vary in shape and size. They are usually found on the neck, armpits, around the groin or under the breasts. Skin tags may be snipped off with surgical scissors or a surgical scalpel.

Lumps and bumps removal

Excision of lumps and bumps refers to any minor procedure for skin or subdermal lesions, such as warts, moles, cysts, or lipomas. The tissue around the lump is removed and the procedure is called Lumpectomy or excisional biopsy. Bumps can be removed by surgical excision or with shaved down radiowaves (radiofrequency) surgery or laser.

Mole removal

Moles, are common skin growths that are usually brown or black. They can appear anywhere on the body, alone or in groups. Moles occur when the cells in the skin grow in clusters instead of spreading evenly throughout the skin. Most moles are harmless and nothing to worry about. The moles you absolutely need to consider removing are ones that have changed in color, size, or shape could be a warning sign of skin cancer.
